Contract award in Switzerland

The bidding consortium of Balfour Beatty Rail GmbH / Sersa Group AG (Switzerland) has beaten off stiff competition to win an international tender for the installation of overhead conductor rail elements for the Zurich Durchmesserlinie (Zurich cross-city link). By securing this contract, rail infrastructure expert Balfour Beatty Rail, which as part of the bidding consortium Transtec Gotthard Partners is also responsible for the rail technology in the Gotthard Base Tunnel, has once again highlighted its credentials on the Swiss market.
